Alexandre Hammoudi
Born in Paris, France, Alexandre Hammoudi began his training at seven with Max Bozzoni of the Paris Opera Ballet. He continued his training at the Academy of Dance Salle Playel in Paris from 1996-1999, received further training at the English National Ballet School in London and, most recently, at the School of American Ballet.
Hammoudi has won numerous international competitions, including the Trophee Arabesque and the Biarritz Dance Competition. At 16, Hammoudi became a member of the National Ballet of Cuba and toured South America with that company.
Hammoudi joined ABT's Studio Company in 2002, in April 2003, joined the main company as an apprentice and became a member of the Company‰s corps de ballet in April 2004.

Melaine Hamrick
Born in Williamsburg, Virginia, Melanie Hamrick began her training at Chamber Ballet and continued her training with Sandra Balestracci at the Eastern Virginia School of the Performing Arts. She was a scholarship student for five years at the University Ballet Academy (formerly known as the Kirov Academy of Ballet) where she studied with Alla Sizova for three years, as well as Nicolai Morozov and Adrienne Dellas. She has performed the wedding pas de deux and the Bluebird pas de deux from The Sleeping Beauty and the grand pas de deux from The Nutcracker.
Hamrick attended the summer program at the School of American Ballet for three years and attended ABT‰s Summer Intensive Program in 2003.
Hamrick joined ABT‰s Studio Company in September 2003 and the main Company as a member of the corps de ballet in April 2004.

Laura Hidalgo
Laura Hidalgo was born in Mendoza, Argentina and, at the age of 13, was invited to study at LÅInstitut Superieur dÅArt in Bordeaux, France where she continued her professional training under the direction of Monica Panader. In 1998, she won a gold medal at the Grasse Ballet Competition in France followed by a Grand Prix at the Havana, Cuba competition for young dancers. Hidalgo also won a gold medal at the International Ballet Competition in Luxembourg in 1999.
Hidalgo has performed in numerous galas, including the 2000 Homage to the Ballets Russes in New Orleans, Louisiana. In 2000, she won a bronze medal at the competition in Varna.
Hidalgo joined ABTÅs Studio Company in 2002 and, in April 2003, joined the main company as an apprentice. In January 2004 she became a member of the corps de ballet. Her roles with the Company include the Polish Princess in Swan Lake and a leading role in Sechs Tänze.

Blain Hoven
Born in Mobile, Alabama, Blaine Hoven began his training at Mobile Ballet under the direction of Winthrop Corey and Ann Duke. During his high school years, he trained at the North Carolina School of the Arts with Melissa Hayden, Warren Conover, Fanchon Cordell, Nina Danilova and Susan McKee McCollough. Hoven received American Ballet TheatreÅs National Training Scholarship from 1999 through 2002 and attended ABT's Summer Intensive for five summers.
Hoven joined ABT's Studio Company in September 2003 and the main Company as a member of the corps de ballet in April 2004.

Yuriko Kaijya
Born in Nagoya, Japan, Yuriko Kajiya began her training at the Matsumoto Michiko Ballet. At ten, she moved to China and became the first and only foreign student to study at the Shanghai Ballet School and graduated on scholarship. During her stay in China, Kajiya performed many times on Chinese national television.
In 1997, at 13, Kajiya won the Best Performance Award in the senior category at the Tao Li Bei National Ballet Competition. In 1999, she became one of the youngest finalists at the Third International Ballet Competition in Nagoya. In January 2000, she won the renowned Prix de Lausanne Scholarship and Public Prize, which enabled her to study at the National Ballet of Canada School.
Kajiya joined American Ballet Theatre's Studio Company in 2001. She became an apprentice with the main company in 2002 and, in June of that year, joined ABT as a member of the corps de ballet. KajiyaÅs repertoire includes featured roles in Diversion of Angels, Petite Mort and HereAfter, as well as roles in all of the Company's full-length ballets.
Recently, Kajiya appeared on the Tokyo Talk Show and presented the American Ballet Theatre documentary Dancer.

Vitali Krauchenka
Born in Minsk in the Republic of Belorussia, Vitali Krauchenka trained at the Belorussian Choreographic School and performed with the Belorussian Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. He danced with the Latvian National Opera before joining the Atlantic Ballet of Canada. His repertory included roles in Swan Lake, The Sleeping Beauty, Le Corsaire, Romeo and Juliet, and other classical and modern ballets such as Carmen, Le Sacre du Printemps and 3x.
Krauchenka joined American Ballet Theatre as a member of the corps de ballet in April 2004.

Jarred Matthews
Jared Matthews was born in Houston and received his early ballet training there under the guidance of Victoria Vittum and Gilbert Rome. Mr. Matthews was awarded scholarships to study at the North Carolina School of the Arts summer program and also received scholarships to summer programs at the Joffrey Ballet and the School of American Ballet. He attended American Ballet Theatre's Summer Intensive Program in 2000 and 2001 and was invited to join ABT's Studio Company. Mr. Matthews is currently being coached by David Howard.
Mr. Matthews has been a guest artist with the Noriko Hara Ballet and the Sakamura Ballet Company in Japan. He has also worked with Rochester City Ballet, Civic Ballet of Chicago and the Houston Repertoire Ballet. His repertoire includes Prince Siegfried in Swan Lake, the Cavalier in The Nutcracker and Hilarion in Giselle.
Mr. Matthews joined the Company as a member of the corps de ballet in April 2003. His repertoire with the Company includes the Neapolitan Dance in Swan Lake, leading roles in Sechs Tänze, Petite Mort, Sinfonietta, Symphonic Variations, workwithinwork and a featured role in HereAfter. Mr. Matthews dances many roles in all the Companyâs full-length ballets.
